About the Role
Role Overview:
The Social Media Intern supports day-to-day social media execution through content handling, research, and platform management. This role focuses on understanding trends, creating relatable content, and assisting in expanding reach across platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle and support social media content across platforms
2. Create memes and short-form engaging content
3. Conduct research on trends, topics, and public conversations
4. Manage and assist with content on Instagram, X (Twitter), YouTube, and Facebook
5. Assist with writing captions, posts, and short scripts
6. Participate in content creation, including basic on-screen appearances when required
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma
Strong research skills and curiosity
Active interest in politics, cricket, movies, business, and current affairs
Working knowledge of Instagram, X, YouTube, and Facebook
Strong sense of trending memes, humor, and digital culture
Demonstrated interest in reading books and long-form content, contributing to better context, language, and cultural awareness
